The first issue of Transworld landed this
week. In the opening pages was this mental gap that had us wandering,
what? We caught up with Team rider Dan Brisse to find out the logistics on this situation.
When did you find this gap?
I think it was in January? I found this close out to drop rail directly
next to it, and then Andy Wright actually pointed out flying from the
parking garage to the roof gap the day we were setting up the close out
rail. So, I really gotta say thanks to Andy for the eye on this one!
What's the distance?
I am not positive on the distance? I am pretty sure someone did measure it, but I think I remember hearing 52 feet?
How many speed checks did you make?
One or Two.
What time of day did you hit it?
I think
around 1 or 2 p.m. We waited until the weekend since there is this
corporate building next to it with huge glass windows.
How many times did you hit it?t
5 or 6 times.
What would you do next time?
Same thing.
Our crew killed it that day, and I could not have done it with out
everyones help, thanks! Plus, we got really lucky in the end because we
ended up getting kicked out right when we were finished! Then they told
us to clean up our 100 yard runway which had turned to ice. We shoveled
for like 5 minutes and then a snow plow rolled up and cleaned it up for
us! The funny part was that my board and back pack were stolen while we
were shoveling for the five minutes up on the garage.
